note 39240 added to ref.xml

I am getting an undefined variable notice when I try to run the XML Tag Mapping Example above. It says that htmltag is undefined. I've tried declaring it a couple different ways including making it global, but nothing works. Register globals is set to On. Any ideas? ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.xml.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+39240 Delete -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+39240&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+39240&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
