note 39273 rejected from function.mcrypt-get-iv-size by betz

Note Submitter: asher@gingeryinfo.com ---- I'm having trouble with this documentation. First off the resource types says that there are no resource types defined when obviously this is not the case. Second off, the resource types seem to be involved only when working with mcrypt 2.4.x, not 2.2.x. I'm building an online payment front end that requires two-encryption to take place. I want to use CFB with a cipher, but my mcrypt version (which I cannot change) is 2.2.x. When I call the above function with an algorithm listed as supported in 2.2.x (the second function of course, in this page there appears to be a typo by deduction) and MCRYPT_RAND, my server reports the function is not found... however, when I run phpinfo, mcrypt is found as a module enabled as version 2.2.x, and the configuration or compile options list '--with-mcrypt'. I'm very confused, can anyone help me with this? Asher
