If you need to output a string that contains the 'end of php' sequence ?>, or perhaps
you have trouble with your editor's syntax colouring because of it, for instance if you wish to
do this:
<?php
print "<?xml version=\"1.0\"?>\n";
?>
you can instead use an encoded char to remove the confusion:
<?php
print "<?xml version=\"1.0\"\x3F>\n";
?>
Note that this notes page doesn't have a problem with this syntax!
