The previous note is incorrect. You need not manually serialize and deserialize objects for use in
sessions. This is handled automatically by PHP.
See Chapter 13 of the manual, under section entitled "Serializing objects - objects in
sessions"
However, it is correct in that you MUST include the class definition BEFORE starting a session.

PHP5 has the __autoload() feature - so, the __autoload() will be called if it's available to
load the class. So when trying to deserialize an object which is an instance of a class which is not
still known to PHP __autoload() will be called.
