Related to venky_madurai's post of 17-Jan-2003, that gzip compressed pages marked no-cache can
sometimes crash a browser and are not cached:
IE6 shows no content (entirely blank page) in certain cases when using the suggested HTTP/1.1
cache-control headers (no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate, post-check=0, pre-check=0) combined with
with gzip compressed output.
Changing the cache-control header to just:
header("Cache-Control: no-cache");
seems to solve this while still (at least in some cases) not caching the page.
