If you're just looking for a quick-and-dirty way to peek at a variable, this is a bit simpler
than output buffering:
<?php
echo "<!-- ";
print_r($var);
echo " -->";
?>
Your site's layout won't be affected. Useful for live sites. No one looks at the source
anyways :)
