I am a C/C++ programmer but PHP newbie. So how about reference to reference? In C/C++ I would normally write: int a = 99, b = 100; void foo( int **ca, int **cb ) { *ca = &a; *cb = &b; } int main() { int *aa; int *bb; foo( &aa, &bb ); printf( "a = %d, b = %d", *aa, *bb ); } Is there any ekquivalent in PHP (other than that "array" one)? ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.references.arent.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+40680 Delete -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+40680&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+40680&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
