Email addresses can actually have 2 @'s. Fi. user@sbcglobal.net@yahoo.com. Hence
"^([a-zA-Z0-9_\.-@]+|[a-zA-Z0-9_\.-]+)
@[a-zA-Z0-9_\.-]+\.[a-zA-Z]{2,4}$"
Would stil test for at least 1 @ before the domain, but would allow @ before that as well.
