fmarzoa, the reason your assignment
define (strArticleDescr, 'Published by $article_author on $article_date in
$article_lang_name');
was interpreted literally is that variables are not interpreted inside single quotes. You could
use:
define (strArticleDescr, "Published by $article_author on $article_date in
$article_lang_name");
or
define (strArticleDescr, 'Published by '.$article_author.' on
'.$article_date.' in '.$article_lang_name');
and you won't need to eval it later.
