My host has register_globals turned ON by default. I have tried uploading a .htaccess file to turn
it off, but I only get an Internal Server Error 500, which leads me to believe the host will not
allow this directive in .htaccess.
But all the code I've written (using $_SESSION) is broken now! The Session data will not carry
from page to page, but it runs great on my own Unix box with register_globals OFF.
Does anyone know of a good workaround when I can't turn OFF register_globals? I've seen
some code here, but I'm looking for more than simply unsetting non-superglobal globals.
