If you are installing PHP on Debian, you don't need to visit http://www.apt-get.org/. It's far better to use the
packages which are part of Debian itself. For Woody/stable, the packages you want are php3
(http://packages.debian.org/stable/web/php3) or php3-cgi
(http://packages.debian.org/stable/web/php3-cgi). For
Sarge (testing/unstable), you want are either libapache2-mod-php4 or php4-cgi, although php3
packages are also available.
