php as module and php as cgi with suexec : You *CAN* use both method on a signle server. All you
have to do for a particular virtualhost, on your apache server with php as a module, is to set a new
mime type for .php files :
exemple :
<virtualhost 192.168.0.1>
user foo
group bar
...
AddType application/my-x-httpd-php .php
Action application/my-x-httpd-php /cgi-bin/php
ScriptAlias /cgi-php /var/www/cgi-foo/
</Virtualhost>
On this virtualhost, a new mime type is used for .php files, and thus we can define a new method for
handling these files.
Every other virtualhost can use the module if you like.
You could also use a different extension than .php, and use both methods on a single virtualhost,
the extension will decide wich method will be used to execute the code.
