I m using ora_plogon for oracle 8 DB connection.
Recently, I encountered an error "TNS- unable to resolve the service name". My DBA
suggested to use the ociplogon and by-pass the TNS. But the problem was resolved by re-boot the
apache server. My question is "Any different of using ora_plogon and ociplogon" ? Will
ociplogon resolve the above problem and stable the DB connection ?
