I am not sure if this will help anyone but it sure did help me out. I was using PHP on my website
then I decided to install PHP into my IIS on my Windows machine so I can develop on the road. When
I would then run any websites from my localhost, none of the images would show up on the windows
machine, or after changing the code they wouldn't show up on the Linux server. To fix this
issue, my image folder path would look like the following:
$imagesPath = "./images/";
THAT'S IT!
This seems to resolve all paths between both platforms, I hope this will help out others with the
same problem as I have had. If you didn't catch it, the "." before the "/"
is the key.
