xslt_set_log($xh, getcwd() . 'myfile.log');
should look like this
xslt_set_log($xh, getcwd() . '/myfile.log');
Otherwise you will get a lot of
Warning: xslt_process() [function.xslt-process]: Cannot open log file ...
