If you're facing problems with destroying a session or opening it, the solution may be
surprising: a while ago my colleagues and I noticed that one should place
session_set_cookie_params() BEFORE session_start() rather than AFTER it. I haven't seen any
kind of documentation of this but in practice it seams to work better.
