I had installed PHP on Windows xp but it presents a problem, don`t let pass the values of the
variables betwen 2 diferents pages.Example:
Page: index.htm
<form name="form1" method="post" action="response.php">
name:
<input type="text" name="firstname">
<input type="button" value="send">
</form>
page: response.php
<?php echo "Your name is: $firstname"; ?>
In this page apear an error message like: undefinided variable name $firstname on page response.php
line xx
What ma be the cause of this error? I run the same code on linux an it run correctly.
