FYI for all of you attempting to get the curl extension to work on MS 2003 server with IIS 6.0.
Installed:
-PHP 4.3.4-Win32 (Couldn't get older versions to work with 2003) I also used the PHP installer
and did a standard install.
Copy the following files into your "C:\windows\system32" or "C:\winnt\system32"
folder: (These are found in the PHP 4.3.4 zip file:
libeay32.dll
ssleay32.dll
php_curl.dll (found in "extensions" directory in PHP zip file)
Open up your php.ini file and locate the following two lines:
extension_dir = "./extensions"
;extension=php_curl.dll
Modify the first to point to your system32 directory:
extension_dir = "c:\windows\system32" or
extension_dir = "c:\winnt\system32"
Then uncomment the second line:
extension=php_curl.dll
#save your php.ini file#
To test to make sure curl is now activated you can run the php info script. There will be a section
with Curl listed. It will list it as enabled and give you the version number.
I hope this helps some of you out.
