If you get clean DSO version compiles but errors on startup of apache referring to some *_globals
(core_globals, or sapi_globals, or symbols, use the latest CVS of php here: http://snaps.php.net/php4-latest.tar.gz
After spending hours searching the net for a solution, I found that many many people had this issue
but no one had the answer till I finally found it in the PHP bug database. I have no idea why this
fixes the problem, but I am relieved it worked for me.
