Ive noticed a weird thing.
I have all the entries in /etc/php.ini for magic quotes set to Off. I put
set_magic_quotes_runtime(0) in the top of my script. Yet, when I do:
$input = preg_replace("/(<\\/?.*?>)/esi", "strtolower('\\\\1')",
$input);
It escapes any quotes regardless of the magic quotes settings. This is incredibly annoying.
I've yet to discover a workround.
