I am running XP Home and since Apache 2.0.44 I have been trying to lead the load PHP module by uncommenting these lines[1] in httpd.conf file. The first line always causes "Apache2" restart to fail. When I try PHP as CGI, "Apache2" restarts. However, I get this message when I try to run a script[2]. [1] LoadModule php4_module "c:/php/sapi/php4apache2.dll" AddType application/x-httpd-php .php [2] Security Alert! The PHP CGI cannot be accessed directly. This PHP CGI binary was compiled with force-cgi-redirect enabled. This means that a page will only be served up if the REDIRECT_STATUS CGI variable is set, e.g. via an Apache Action directive. For more information as to why this behaviour exists, see the manual page for CGI security. For more information about changing this behaviour or re-enabling this webserver, consult the installation file that came with this distribution, or visit the manual page. --- I read the notes about iconv.dll and tried that too. And even the one about copying the php4ts.dll file to c:\php\ folder. None of these changes worked. Any help out there? Please? ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/install.apache2.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+42231 Delete -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+42231&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+42231&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
