What about just use HTML <PRE> tag to know how your array is filled?
This will work fine using print_r PHP function... and you can type it fast without remember any
complicate function.

$ARRAY = array(array("banana", "apple"),array("tea","orange
juice"));
//Where the first array is for fruits and the second array is for beverages.
echo "<PRE>";
print_r($ARRAY);
echo "</PRE>";
?>
