I'm sending out a call for help. I'm attempting to setup an ecommerce site using
Verisign's payflow pro because I would like the site to be fully automated. For example, based
on the response from the php function call to pfpro_process it would send out an emailer.
I have been jerked around by many hosts claiming to have support for payflow pro only to try to call
the function and to have it undefined/not present.
Could someone let me know of a host or from personal experience of a host that supports this
function. I have read that php has to be built with the support. I realize 99.99 percent of hosts
will not rebuild.
Also, am I being naive in assuming in how easily this function works (set the environment variable
to the verisign cert, and then sending the arguments to the pfpro_process function and look for a 0
if the transaction was good or non-zero if it failed)
IF anyone can help I would greatly apprecate it. I have been through at least 6 hosts and this is
one of those situations that keeps you up at night wondering how its implemented. Any help towards
this issue would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!
