note 43268 added to function.ereg

I wanted to include a single quote into the data: E.g. Someone called: D'Haeseleer ereg("^[a-z]+(-| |')?[a-z]+$",$name) So what I'm trying to do is allowing a nonbreaking space or a dash or a single quote. I'm not able to allow the single quote. I tried escaping it and lots of other things but none of them are working.
