I don't like that comparison between output of strpos and FALSE. strpos already returns TRUE or
FALSE!!!
This seems to be better for me:

if (strpos($_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'], 'MSIE')) {
echo 'You are using Internet Explorer.<br />';
}
?>
