I use Cold Fusion Studio 4.5 as my editor under windows (which includes customisable PHP colour
coding and keyword highlighting).
OPTIONS > SETTINGS (F8)
Select the "Editor" panel.
Check "Insert tabs as spaces".
Set "Tab Width" to 4. (located top right)
I assume HomeSite will have these same settings.
