It really isnt that useless if your trying to retrieve information from a db, and are checking to
see if there is blanks in the field, or a link. Like if you want to display two seperate statements.
example:
$site=$randomurl->URL;
if (!empty($site)) {
echo "<a class=layermenu href=\"$site\">Click Here</a>";
}
else { echo "Sorry, no site given"; }?>
