Note to newcomers: do not specify the file name you are trying to run as part of the path. ie
correct command:
$exe = "start /D \"C:\\mysql\\bin\" /B mysqldump.exe";
dont get caught out by using:
$exe = "start /D \"C:\\mysql\\bin\\mysqldump.exe";
It wont work!
The /D parameter specifies the path to the file
The /B parameter specifies the file to run
