Adding to the Windows batch file trick posted by josep on 22-May-2003 ...
The browser will echo the batch file commands. An easy way to hide the echo is to put HTML comments
around the system call...
print "<!-- ";
system( "/path/to/BatchFile.bat" );
print " //-->";
