note 43845 rejected from function.ini-set by nlopess

Note Submitter: me@benbot.co.uk ---- I am trying to set up a php script that allows a user to type a message on my site, and sends a message to me. Only problem i have is that it doesnt work. I know i had my php working as my mates server worked for it, yet my one wont, i was told to use the ini_set(); command and am having trouble using this can anyone give me a hand. here is my php script, <?php ini_set(SMTP, "smtp.fasthosts.co.uk"); mail("me@benbot.co.uk", $_GET["mess"], $_GET["from"], "$mess $from" . phpversion()); ?> All it does is send back a blank e-mail to me saying it it addressed to me@localhost.com, so if it is sending it back, why isnt my message there. Please help me! :'(
