From php5 do the following setting, then you can use mysql as usual:
1. In the php.in file finding 'extension_dir', set as following:
extension_dir = "./ext" or extension_dir = "c:\php\ext"
2. uncomment 'extension=php_mysql.dll' in .ini file.
3. check libmySQL.dll file exists in php fold. if you extract the
distribution file to c:\php\ directory,you don't need copy
this file to %SYSTEMROOT% directory.
