@ smc+phpman Zend/PHP is likely awaiting the finalization of JSR223, which seeks to allow scripting languages a much clearer form of communication to/from Java. http://jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=223 This is a joint effort between Sun & Zend, among others.
