Fedora Core 2 users may have a difficult time compiling php4 with GD even if you have all the
appropriate libraries installed using up2date. zlib depends on libraries stored in /usr/include
which is not included in the library path by default. To fix this add the following line to your
/etc/ld.so.conf file.
/usr/include
