Sorry to disagree with Mr-Yellow, but in my testing, using Max-Age in a cookie header has the result
of IE6 treating the cookie like a session cookie (doesn't store it as a file). I don't
doubt that Max-Age is a better method (gets around problems with users having invalid date/time
clocks) but if IE6 doesn't treat it correctly then its not very useful.
Stick with the setcookie() function and you won't have this problem (and every browser in the
universe is backward compatable for the cookie expires parameter).
