a note to aleczapka _at) gmx dot net "workaround"
<?php
if (!session_id("mysession"))
session_start();
?>
DO NOT use that, every visitor will use the very same session file, id'd "mysession"
i experienced the same problem: IE6 losing the session_id on a linux apache, but not losing it on a
windows apache, same website.
i read a lot about p3p headers and other workarounds... i tried everything, but ultimativly, i had
to change the php.ini to session.use_trans_sid=1 to get the session id from $_REQUEST. securitywise
not the very best solution, but the only working one
