Just offering a data point. I am using Safari v1 on Mac OS X (10.2.8 - Jaguar) and I tried both
scripts below for forcing a download of an mp3 file. The download works in both cases. However, the
file begins to play in iTunes. This is not a big deal but just wanted to mention it. It may be a
feature of iTunes with which I am unfamiliar.
