httpd.conf is also a little pedantic about where you put:
# For PHP 5
LoadModule php5_module "c:/php/php5apache.dll"
# specify the directory where php.ini is
SetEnv PHPRC C:/php
Put them together just after all the "AddModules" and you should be sweet!
