(For PHP5 too, I guess?)
When I enabled extension for php_mysql (extension=php_mysql.dll).
I had problems runing a simple script like:
<?php
echo "testing php";
?>
I changed extension_dir in php.ini to be extension_dir = "./ext" instead of something like
'= "c:\php\ext"'. and everything worked perfectly
