Note Submitter: choinet at NoSpam dot rocketmail dot com ---- Two previous comments refer to the necessity for fontfile pathname conversion to 8.3 format on Windows, while no such workaround exists on Unix-like systems. This stems from the use of spaces in separating alternate font pathnames in the fontfile argument. gd 2.0.18 accomodates pathnames with spaces by changing the default fontpath separator to a semicolon ";" (see relevant information at Boutell's page http://www.boutell.com/gd). Once this version and subsequent versions are integrated, then there should be many less problems with "could not find/open font."
