The above code appears to run flawlessly, although when put to the test there appears to be a hole
in it. Every time a domain known not to exist is typed in without a proper ending (i.e. leaving off
any sort of ending such as .com) is entered after the @ symbol getmxrr() fails, but checkdnsrr()
returns "TRUE". In my testing I found that by converting the domain to an IP Address
first, and then running it through checkdnsrr() it appears to function correctly. I realize that
this is probably unnecessary due to the fact that such a domain wouldn't pass the initial
rational expression in the above example. But maybe this will help some of you who are using
checkdnsrr() in some other way. :-)
By the way, everytime I pass getmxrr() a domain ending in .tv it returns "TRUE" and the IP
Address 64.209.167.41, although the name is not registered in the WhoIS database or on www.tv! Is
there any way to check whether or not the .tv domain really exists or do all of the .tv endings have
the same IP Address somehow?
