Note Submitter: wingedpower at gmail dot com ---- Was trying out the gzcompress and was getting the blank page on the first load. After hitting up this forum and others for clues, I tried doing a n automated page reload on the first time through a header() statement with a $_SESSION[] variable to keep track of whether or not this was the "first" visit. In either case, in the course of messing around with it a bit, I found that when I added a session_start() at the start of the main index file before the ob_start() statement, I was getting the page to show up properly again on the first load. No blank initial blank pages. Btw, quickly becoming a big fan of compressed html considering some of the links pages I have are in the 50+KB size and become 10-12KB after compression.
