Make sure you put:
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
in the mime.c area, otherwise PHP will not run. Type:
C:\Apache\Apache.exe -w -n "Apache" -k restart
in a command prompt to see if Apache gives you errors after you configure the httpd.conf.
