Note Submitter: thomas(at)wiesinger(dot)org ---- To previous post: It might not work as your printer is not a line printer and would not print out until a form feed was submitted _or_ can simply not print text directly due to the architecture. draw_text is a very different function, it draws the text to the page buffer (that will be submitted once you send all data - that contains all formatting attributes and data - to the printer). write simply writes RAW data to the printer.
