Yes, PHP does support stored procedures
You have to add "select" before the name of the
procedure, just like that:
$result = pg_querry($conn, "SELECT procedure_x($aa)");
if a procedure returns a cursor you do something like that:
$result = pg_query($conn, "SELECT procedure_x('rcursor'); FETCH ALL IN
rcursor");
