Just a quick note that i don't think is mentioned anywhere. If you are trying to make a
directory with spaces and such:
mkdir ('this is a directory', 0775);
You do NOT need to escape the spaces yourself. Looks like PHP does this for you. You do however have
to escape a backticked mkdir however:
$makedir =
mkdir this\ is\ a\ directory;
Just thought i might help someone not spend 30 mins trying to figure out why their code doesn't
work (like me :).
