Note Submitter: ---- It seems that this function does not work with very big (width/height) images. I use this and couple of others to shrink images if they are bigger than allowed and it worked fine until user uploaded an image that was 1200 in width and over 4000 in height. The result was black image of right size (smaller than original). So resizing worked but image turned into black. Every other image before and since (if they are smaller than ...) have worked fine.
