Just an FYI to all you who may have had problems starting apache after compiling php.
It seems that when I compiled dmalloc support into PHP and then loaded apache it would core dump
whenever stopped, restarted, etc. Not only that but if I tried to start it with a php.ini file it
would core dump and not start period. So I compiled it without dmalloc and all has been fine.
