Note Submitter: triky at hotmail dot com ---- IIS 6.0 running on Windows 2003 Web Edition, PHP 4.3.9 I've find a very simple solution to the 401.3 problem between IIS 6 and PHP. It's enought to copy the php4ts.dll to the sapi directory of php, because is here where IIS try to get this DLL (it's a dummy situation, i think that is a possible pointer error (???)). However the 401.3 error is due to restrictions of system32 directory, in facts if it dont't find php4ts on sapi directory it search her on system directory, that is locked by ACL Another way to solve this trouble is to edit ACL restrictions of system32 but, obviously, this isn't recommended for security issues.
