note 46852 added to ref.sockets

I have a problem: When I try to execute the following line (first line in coding) $socket = socket_create(AF_INET, SOCK_STREAM, SOL_TCP); I get the error socket_create() expects parameter 3 to be long, string given in <b>W:\sock.php</b> on line </b>3</b><br /> Can anyone help me?
