Note Submitter: Khaless _AT_ bigpond.com ---- If you try and use stream_select() to check for data on one side of a fd returned by proc_open on a WINDOWS system you will get an error and this will not work. As i understand it, this is because the windows call only supports sockets, and thus because of this php's stream_select in windows only works on sockets. This is just to save trouble for some people, with proc only use socket_select if you going to be running on a non windows system.
